Ready to Make Honey Ginger Lemonade?
Here's what you'll need to make 3 servings:
- 4 large lemons
- 1/2 cup fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 1/2 cups water, divided
- flaky salt and mint for garnish
Instructions
- Start by making the honey ginger syrup. Add 1/2 cup water, the honey, and the ginger to a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer, and allow to simmer for 15 minutes (stirring regularly).
- Remove the syrup from heat, transfer to a jar, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- In a pitcher or large jar, juice 3 lemons (slice the 4th for garnish in the glasses) and add the remaining water.
- Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the ginger honey syrup over the pitcher. Stir well to mix the syrup, water, and lemon juice together.
- Add a couple lemon slices to glasses, fill with ice, and pour the lemonade over top. Garnish with fresh mint and a sprinkle of flaky salt.
