Antique Bamiléké Stool


Naturally aged and hand-carved from a single piece of hardwood, this stool has a slightly concave seat and a robust, beautifully engraved base. Originating from the  Grassfields of Cameroon, these stools have long been used as ceremonial seating, indicating the status and power within a tribe.
